The Department of Oral Medicine of ZJUSS is a professional department of oral mucosal diseases which integrates clinical medicine, teaching and scientific research. We are good at diagnosis and treatment of oral mucosal diseases, aesthetic restoration of anterior and posterior teeth, diagnosis and treatment of dental pulp diseases and other common or complex dental diseases. We adhere to the standardized and systematic treatment of oral mucosal diseases.

For patients with potentially malignant lesions of oral mucosa, such as oral leukoplakia, oral lichen planus, erythema, traumatic ulcer and discoid lupus erythematosus, we pay attention to patient communication with our unique insights, so as to increase the early detection rate and reversal rate. With multidisciplinary and sequential treatment, we have achieved good clinical results and promoted the quality of patients’ life.

The team in this department consists of 15 professional doctors with two chief physicians who are also graduate supervisor doctors of stomatology, including the President Chen Qianming, one attending physician doctor of stomatology, and 12 residents who graduate from West China School of Stomatology Sichuan University, School of Stomatology of Peking University, Wuhan University, Nanjing University and Zhejiang University. All of them have participated in clinical studies and scientific research and teaching projects.
